The downside with this though, is that it can only connect to one at a time and doesn’t have any real scalability factor as far as data goes.
DDR3 on the other hand can reach higher speeds than DDR4 but over all they are both reliable forms of memory storage devices. DDR4 comes in two sizes which are 8GB or 16GB whereas DDR3 can hold just about any capacity between 1GB – 64GB depending upon the speed you opt for so if you want to be able to store a lot of data then DDR3 will win the race every time.
