What ram is good for video games

Ram is important for a number of reasons when it comes to gaming. Different games require different amounts of ram, and more powerful gaming rigs need more of it. But what kind of ram do you need for your PC in order to game at your best? This post will help clear things up and explain what the best ram for video games is. I will also explore the differences between different ram speeds and latencies.

Use RAM

RAM is important because your system can access data in it more quickly than it can retrieve info from your main storage disk. You have the entire game’s data stored on your hard drive or solid state drive, but constantly pulling it from there is inefficient. Thus, your computer moves the game information it will need to RAM in order to quickly load it.

With low RAM, your computer won’t be able to store all the game info it needs to run properly, leading to choppy frame rates and poor performance. An extreme lack of RAM could even prevent the game from working at all.

You should know that their CPUs are far behind in the race when it comes to RAM and thread management. While Intel uses DDR3 and DDR4, AMD only has DDR3 available to use, currently. They’re planning on releasing a new consumer-grade chipset that will support DDR4 but we don’t yet see how well it’s going to perform compared to the newest Intel chipsets so stay tuned

! That being said, I’d recommend using at least 8GBs of RAM with any CPU within your budget. If your budget is a bit more flexible, I would recommend trying 16GBs as it will future-proof your gaming a bit. Some people might try and tell you that you don’t need that much ram for gaming and that 4 or 6 gigs will do but they are wrong. With the newest games coming out, you will definitely need more than that.

RAM for video games

When it comes to choosing the best ram for video games, there are a few important things to consider. The first is the type of ram module itself. DDR3 and DDR4 are the two most common types of modules available in the market. They differ in terms of performance, price, and power consumption. DDR3 is less expensive and consumes less power than DDR4, but is slower. DDR4 on the other hand is faster and provides better bandwidth with lower latency since it was designed for newer CPUs which are more efficient at processing information.

The second thing to consider when choosing the best ram for video games is the frequency of the modules. They range from anywhere between 800 MHz to 3600 MHz+. The higher end models are obviously pricier but provide greater throughput. And lastly, you want to look into what motherboard socket your CPU uses so that you can purchase a RAM kit that will work perfectly with your rig.

Your fx-6300 should be able to use up to 32GBs of ram if needed and as long as it has 4 Dimm available. Anything above 8GBs will allow you to game at the best possible settings for this generation of games.

Frequencies Factors

There are some factors that need to be considered when choosing the best ram for video games, including the type of ram modules used (DDR3/4), their frequencies, and what motherboard socket your CPU uses. The perfect RAM kit will provide your rig with optimal performance by using high-frequency modules which are compatible with your rig’s motherboard.

The best RAM kit for gaming will include high frequency modules that are compatible with your motherboard socket. For AMD CPUs, look for DDR3 RAM kits that have a frequency of 800MHz or higher. 8GBs+ should provide optimal gaming performance.
